You should never feel bad and compare your cosplay to someone doing the same character. It will NEVER be a fair comparison.
You don’t know how much time,money and effort they really put into the costume.
Just completing a cosplay is a great accomplishment to be proud of.

I’m pretty sure if I tagged my boyfriend in pictures of things I want he would just give me the side eye. I see girls doing this and I wonder if their boyfriends end up buying all the stuff they want. It’s just an odd concept for me to wait on my boyfriend to buy me stuff. If I want it then i’ll buy it myself
